Cowboy Cookies. Finished and Good! |
We are all about the Beef but we like Sweets too! This week I am sharing with you one of my favorite cookie recipes.
If I wasn’t outside growing up then I was inside cooking something. I was also making up some kind of new recipe. While this cookie recipe has been developed through trial and error, I think I finally got it.

Cowboy Cookies ready to be put in the oven!! |
1 C. Butter (I sometimes use Applesauce)
1/2 C. Sugar
1 1/2 C. Packed Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 1/2 C. Flour
2 C. Rolled Oats
1/2 C Raisins
1/2 C. Sunflower Seeds
3/4 C. Chopped Pecans
1 (12 oz) Pkg. Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Mix remaining ingredients. Drop by Tablespoons on greased cookie sheet. (I use Pampered Chef Stoneware and don’t use grease) Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until the edges are brown.
Enjoy!!
